Hi Everbody!
I wanted to stop by and apologize for the complete Lack. The boys are now out of school and am looking forward to some actual cooking. And by that I mean, you get to share in our meals.
The garden is alive this year and doing exceptionally well. As you can see the volunteer pumpkins are coming right along. The tomato plants are 4′ across, 4′ high and climbing, jeez. I have time to water and snap a few shots for fun.

Looking forward to having you back at the grill — and sharing with us!
D’oh. I hadn’t realized your new camera has already arrived.
Fun.

Hey Cookie, I finally gave away that pumpkin plant. It is now famous.
Guess I’m not the only one with volunteers in the garden. Every year I get lots of cherry tomato and cilantro plants in random locations between my other vegetables. This time I also have some type of bean as well. I just don’t have the heart to treat them as weeds and pull them out. My smoker is only a scant ten feet away on the patio, so I can blend both pursuits with relative ease.
Hey Scots,
Yeah, ain’t that crazy? The funny thing is I have oregano and cilantro growing FAR nicer as a volunteer versus planting directly. Don’t make no sense. And yet, it’s okay with me.

Hey Mr.Big —
My garden in now exploding with lush greenery. We’ve had quite a nice combo of lots of sun alternating with good rain up here in Mass. My zucchini are really looking great this year. My wife has great recipe from my mother for zucchini relish. Let me know if you want to try it. I’m soon going to give a “fresh ham” a try on my indirect smoker. Ever done one?
Happy fourth a little late.
