Lemons are from my tree, not sure what happened. Most are round, lemon shaped. And as you can see, some have many fingers.

Wow, Biggles — those lemons look like tiny mutant dinosaurs! Ive never seen anything like that. I hope you find out what caused them to burst into such eccentric shapes.
Fruits & Herbs? To quote from the Chairman: Which Iron Chef will shutter at the sight of your massive peppermill?
Wow! Those are amazing! … Where is the MEAT? hehehe
Yikes! Acid Rain, maybe? Do you live near a toxic waste dump? Lol! 😉
I believe the odd shapes are caused by a type of fruit fly, setting up house!
look for webbing in the creases of the formations….

Beautiful! I’ve seen those fingered lemons in the market, but never tried one. Do they have any juice?
I’d be walking around with a Geiger Counter if I were you. Just follow the clicking to the Lemon Tree!
Hey Chef,
Ya know, I trimmed that tree down pretty tight earlier this year and am not getting the crazy fruit anymore. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not.

They are called Buddha’s Hand, and I think used mostly for the rind. Cool looking.
Hi Mary,
Yeah, totally hip to the Buddha’s Hand citrus. But I was lead to believe it came from a specific tree. One of my friends has a tree that produces nothing but those. The ones you see in this post, came off a regular old lemon tree. In any case, they’re pretty darned cool looking.
